Reid is making a point that describes how if Obama’s skin tone was darker and his speech resembled a more Negro dialect that he wouldn’t be accepted as president because his perception as a darker skinned Black with a Negro dialect would vastly differ from that of what mainstream America is capable of tolerating. I think Reid is onto something RACE which is still a taboo topic for most Americans regardless of the tone of their skin red, white, yellow, brown and BLACK.

Well, I think what most people should take away from this is that the massive subsidies for health insurance companies have been preserved while it’s also expanded their customer base because there’s an individual mandate in the bill that’s going to provide all these companies with the, you know, 25 or 30 million new people who are going to be paying for health insurance. So, it’s, obviously, a huge boon to that industry. And I think Wall Street correctly read what the health care effort is all about.

“It’s a stupid metaphor to say I’m blacker than Barack Obama, that I apologize for,” he said. “It’s not appropriate for me, a white person, to stand out somehow and claim to be a black person, that’s just wrong … I was expressing frustration that the policies of this new administration still haven’t really been focusing on the great deal of inequities we have in our society.”

“There is actual political science that backs that up,” said Ifill, who is black. “I don’t know that Harry Reid has read it, and what Harry Reid said was certainly impolitic, at least, but there is evidence to support that people – whether it is a matter of voting for a white candidate or voting for a black candidate – if a person is very much different than who they are, or what they perceive the mainstream to be, they are less likely to vote for that person.”

Watch out honey, that young man is running like a crazy man”. Crazy I was! And finally, I reached the gates of glory, the aisle of ice cream paradise and saw the difficult selections to choose from. I narrowed it down to marble fudge and to my disgust, utter disgust, I found a Dreyers slow churned Half a gallon of ice cream for 6.99. Like a rejected high schooler, I sat devastated at the exaggerated prices, in shock I ran over to the breyers and see 5.99, ben & jerrys 4.99, What is the world coming too

America’s wealth was built on the backs of African slaves, indigenous exploitation and immigrant labor.

Sometimes Americans forget that some of our news actually reaches a world circuit, including some of the more embarrassing parts too. Below is an article from the BBC news wondering why some people in America won’t accept the fact that Obama is a natural born citizen. I think this birther movement has more to do with Obama color than his heritage, but that’s just my take. Any one else has a comment?
