Poor Michael Eric Dyson... still bitter about not getting an invitation to the White House... I'm more offended by Dyson's inclusion in the black intellectual elite than by his comments. He speaks in sound bites; he WANTS us to RT him... He's just as bad Bill O'Reilly. However, I AM disappointed that Dyson has this platform to perpetuate negative stereotypes about black men available to him. One would think Dyson, whose brother is serving life in prison, would steer clear of trying to connect blackness with anything criminal...
I don't think Obama should spend any time addressing Dyson. The POTUS isn't running from race; he's trying to run a country. The sooner Dyson and his cohorts, who shall remain nameless, realize that, the sooner these outlandish statements can cease to be headlines.
